Success Stories of Past students. Many girls and their mothers have passed through Kimlea and have had their lives and those of their families and villages changed. They are role models and an inspiration in their villages, thus encouraging other girls to join the school. Some of the beneficiaries tell their stories. Like Grace, more than 15 girls have so far sponsored their younger sisters to study in Kimlea after they themselves completed their training and got employment. There are other past students like Eileen Kathambi and Sarah Muthoni who donate Kshs.250/- every month to Kimlea as fees for one poor girl to study in Kimlea like they did. This is as a result of a resolution made in one of the annual meetings with past students of Kimlea. Other past students have promised to join us in our efforts to build up a Kimlea Bursary Fund to help more girls study in Kimlea in the future.
