Kimlea Training Centre aims at helping both women and girls to improve their standard of living by providing them with the necessary skills to be able to start a small business or be employed.

Two types of courses are available in the school:

bullet2 year Full-Time course: for  young girls which aims at helping them to be self employed. The students get a certificate on graduation and a  grade 3  government certificate  on passing the trade test exams. The school currently has 150 full time students.
bulletSaturday classes: These are offered for mothers and those who are unable to attend the full time course. It runs on 3 Saturdays a month. The women get a grade 3 trade test certificate upon passing their examinations. Currently, 60 women are enrolled.

There are other Adult Education classes offered  for women who are unable to come to Kimlea. The details are found in Outreach programmes.
